What can you get done?

Drop into a house full of ambition. Join 12 others who push each other to think bigger, go faster, and execute harder.

A 10-day sprint for those choosing their next chapter

Live in our San Francisco mansion with 12 others pushing each other to figure out what’s next - and go after it.

Bring a project you'll sprint on. We’ll give you $10,000, a space to focus, and a crew that’s all-in on helping you win.

What to Expect

Stay in our Sea Cliff mansion overlooking the ocean. Work on your project by day, and spend the evenings with new friends also at a crossroads.

Title 1

Work with Golden Gate views

We’ve got lots of workspace - most with stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Or take your laptop and work from the sand at Baker Beach, just a few steps below.

Title 2

Home-cooked meals & fireside chats

Our chef serves breakfast every morning from 8am-10am. At night, we gather for family-style dinners and fireside chats with some special guests we admire.

Title 3

Late night games & Mr. Chuckaboo’s Speakeasy

After dinner, it’s up to you - keep working, hang out in the common room, play some board games, or head to Mr. Chuckaboo’s Speakeasy for a nightcap.

Title 4

Fall asleep to the sound of waves

The mansion features nine bedrooms, each with it’s own private bathroom. At night, the sound of waves from the San Francisco Bay makes it easy to drift off to sleep.

Why are we doing this?

We’re a group of friends who enjoy paying it forward. We enjoy making a difference in people’s lives.

I started the Fellowship to support people figuring out what’s next. I want to help them dream bigger, grow into their best selves, and go after what they really want. I believe the key to unlocking someone’s potential is believing in them early - before the world catches on. That’s what I love most: being there when someone decides to take their shot.

When you're starting something new, you just need one person who believes in you. They show you they care and believe in you by sharing their time and attention. This person makes you think that you're capable of anything you've set out to do. This is what I want XX to be - a partner who shows you that your ambitions aren’t just ideas; they’re plans waiting to happen.

I believe life transitions are filled with enormous possibility. They’re the most uncertain periods of our life and the most alive. I want to create a space where people can come together not just to figure out what to do next but to remember who they are at their core. To be surrounded by ambitious, thoughtful people while building the next version of themselves.

FAQ

How often do you do this?

Every few months.

What are the dates?

If accepted, we’ll let you know the options. Each cohort runs an entire week with both weekends (10 days total).

What’s included?

We cover all food and lodging. You are responsible for booking your flights.

What are the terms of the $10,000?

If you start a company, we invest with an uncapped MFN safe. If you don't, it's a grant.

Where is the house?

It’s in the Sea Cliff area of San Francisco.

Can I bring someone else?

If a co-founder or a project partner, yes. Apply together. But it’s $10,000 per project, not team member.

What activities are there?

The structure is very light. There is a group dinner each night at 7:30pm and two pre-planned adventures the first and last day. We expect the rest to happen organically.

Do I need to be a startup founder?

No. Founders, engineers, designers, scientists, artists, musicians, and college drop-outs all qualify.

Can I still apply even if I’ve chosen a path?

Yes. You are the best judge if this is useful for you. We often find founders lost in the “idea maze” for instance.

Do I have to live in the house?

Yes. We believe the shared experience with others is important.

Do I get my own bedroom?

If it’s important to you, yes. We also have a bunk bed room which can increase your odds of being invited. Tell us your preferences when you apply.

What am I expected to do?

Just four things:

  • Come with a project you want to make progress on
  • Take a turn cooking dinner for one night with new friends
  • Attend most of the dinners
  • Help others the best you can

How many people are in each cohort?

Usually, 12 people.
